A Note from Sizzlin Dragons

Sizzlin Dragons produces captive born and bred Pagona Vitticeps (Bearded Dragon).  Due to laws and regulations there is no importing or exporting of bearded dragons from Australia.


We put a lot of research into our breeders and are very selective and careful when breeding our stock. We want to ensure a healthy breeder and pet for everyone. Not only is health and looks a consideration but personality is too. We have learned the different personalities of each dragon and prefer our loveable docile dragons. We have received aggressive breeders for our program and did not keep them due to aggressive tendencies that we could not tame. We love on our dragons and handle them daily and we do the same for our offspring. We want to ensure your dragon is enjoyable in every way.
We are education oriented and are big advocates for proper husbandry and handling of Bearded Dragons. We will not sell one of our babies, juveniles or adults to an uneducated owner. We will answer any questions you have prior to acquiring a Sizzlin Dragon.


We have wonderful links to care sheets on our links page. We recommend every potential owner research the proper care for Bearded Dragons. I do not recommend taking the advice of your average pet store worker. They have very little knowledge of the proper care a Dragon needs. They only know the products they sell and most are unsafe for dragons. Like any pet they are completely dependent on you for proper care and food. The only way to ensure proper care is through educating yourself. Always make sure to have a reptile specialist veterinarian close by.  A regular veterinarian will not do if an emergency ever arises for your beloved Dragon. There are special reptile vets that can get costly, so routine visits are recommended just like a cat and dog.
Bearded Dragons are a wonderful and enriching pet for children and adults alike. They are very personable and I bet you can’t have just one!

Sizzlin Dragons Policies


Hold Policy:


No Dragons will be put on hold. If you are want to purchase a Dragon we recommend you purchase it immediately.  Our Dragons are popular and usually sell quickly.   All Dragons remain available for sale until full payment is received. Our paypal address is diannfaith@sbcglobal.net
If you want to discuss making partial payment then please call on the phone to discuss. This is a very rare occurence and is carefully considered on a case by case basis.
We have the right to refuse service to anyone and we reserve the right to pull a Dragon from the for sale page at any time. As we have mentioned, our Dragons are our pets first.  You can request to be put on a waiting list and will be notified when a specific Dragon goes up for sale.

Payment Options:


We accept paypal and Western Union. We DO NOT accept personal checks. We reserve the rights to refuse a sale to anyone.
**Due to the recent scams with money orders and postal money order we no longer accept them, Sorry for the inconvenience.**


 
Sales Tax:


We are a legit business and we pay taxes on our Dragons. All sales are subject to Texas sales tax. That will be factored into the cost and you will receive an itemized statement.

 
Shipping:

We ship through UPS priority overnight and for early AM delivery. We will under no circumstances ship USPS or ground saver with any company to save you a few bucks. We DO NOT ship to PO Box addresses.  If there is a guarantee of next day delivery for ground we still ship overnight for the guarantee. These are live animals and why cut corners on the most important part of the process to save a few bucks.
All shipments will be provided with a tracking number. We require you contact us the same day of delivery to let us know the dragon made it safely and its conditions.
Shipping may be delayed due to extreme weather conditions. We will not jeopardize the health and well being of a dragon to get it to you a day sooner. We check all receivers weather reports hours before shipping our dragons.
All shipping is paid by receiver and the amount varies due to location.
During the winter months a $1.00 heat-pack charge will be added to every shipment.
We are located in Texas so some summer shipments will require a $1.00 cool-pack charge.
Shipping usually varies from $30.00-$65.00 on average. We do not charge for packaging but actual shipping costs.
If you live within driving distance we highly recommend picking up the dragon in person. In certain cases we will drive to meet half-way, for a $25 delivery fee, to avoid the stress of shipping and to save you money.
An adult, over the age of 18 years, must be home to receive the dragon and sign for it.
Saturday delivery is available for an extra shipping charge.

 
Shipping Guarantee/Purchaser Responsibility:


Safe and live arrival is guaranteed. All shipping is coordinated with the buyer and a Sizzlin Dragon representative. We must be provided with a good address (physical or business address, no PO boxes), 2 daytime phone numbers, and the guarantee of an adult to sign for delivery on first attempt.

We DO NOT guarantee any dragons that have had any failed attempts at delivery. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure there presence at time of FIRST delivery.
Shipping can be very stressful on live reptiles. Some handle it better than others. It can take several weeks for a dragon to relax in its new home. We highly recommend you give your new reptile time to adjust and settle in before you handle it when not needed.


Refunds and Returns:

We do not offer refunds for live animals.
We do not offer a refund for mis sexed dragons. We do not guarantee the sex of a dragon but we do our best to sex accurately.
We guarantee a live and healthy baby arrives but it is up to the new owner to continue the level of care the dragon receives before it leaves.
It is the responsibility of the new owner to research how to properly care for a dragon. We provide many links on our links page. That is the main factor in how a dragon acclimates. It is up to you to make sure your dragon is not stressed and has a proper enclosure/lighting/food and all its needs prepared for prior to the dragon arriving.

We recommend every new buyer join beardeddragon.org and read as much as possible on the proper care and acclimation of a new dragon.

* Note- No refunds given due to buyers remorse or simple change of mind. If a dragon is paid for it is considered yours and a date will be decided on for shipping. A refund will not be issued weather dragon has been shipped or is awaiting shipping. 
I will hold a dragon due to weather till a safer shipping day comes but only if it is in a resonable time frame. Please check weather to make sure it is appropriate to ship.
